This section of the Privacy Policy applies to EEA residents.
The EEA consists of the member states of the European Union, namely Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom, as well as Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway.
This section also applies to Swiss and UK residents.
EEA, Swiss, and UK residents are referred to herein as "EEA Residents."
Since May 25, 2018, we process Personal Information of EEA residents in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR").
GDPR distinguishes between two roles related to personal data processing:
When customers use DeepBI Atlas services to process personal data, they are typically considered data controllers and bear primary responsibility for meeting all applicable GDPR requirements. DeepBI Atlas serves as the customer's data processor, processing only personal data uploaded by customers to the platform.
We collect and process EEA residents' Personal Information for the purpose of obtaining contact information, verifying such information, and providing Services.

The transfer of your Personal Information to the United States is necessary for the performance of the contract between you and us for obtaining Services.
This section concerns the rights of California individuals or households ("California Consumers").
Under certain circumstances, California Civil Code Section 1798.83 provides that, upon receipt of a request from a California Consumer, a business may be required to provide details about how that business shares that customer's Personal Information with third parties for direct marketing purposes.
However, the foregoing provision does not apply to businesses like ours that do not disclose Personal Information to third parties for direct marketing purposes.
The CCPA (California Civil Code Section 1798.100 et seq.) provides California Consumers with additional rights regarding Personal Information that identifies, relates to, describes, is capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular consumer or household.
The categories of Personal Information we collect are generally described above, but vary depending on the Services used by the consumer.
CCPA categorizes entities involved in personal information processing into three types:
CCPA Role | Corresponding GDPR Concept | Responsibility Description |
---|---|---|
Business | Data Controller | Determines processing purposes and methods, directly faces consumers. |
Service Provider / Contractor | Data Processor | Processes information only on behalf of and according to the instructions of the business. |
Third Party | No direct correspondence | No direct consumer relationship with the business but still processes personal information. |
DeepBI Atlas has ensured CCPA compliance through the following measures:
1. Clarifying Our Role
2. Not "Selling" or "Sharing" Information
3. Extending GDPR Results
4. Updating Privacy Policies and Contract Terms
5. Data Breach Response and Training
6. Technical and Organizational Measures
7.3.4.1 California Consumer Rights
Right | Detailed Explanation |
---|---|
Right to Know | California Consumers have the right to request that we disclose the Personal Information we collect, use, disclose, and sell. |
Right to Delete | California Consumers also have the right to submit requests to delete Personal Information. When we receive a valid right-to-know or deletion request from a California Consumer, we will confirm receipt of the request within 10 days and provide information about how we process the request, including our verification process. We will respond to such requests within 45 days. |
Right to Information Disclosure | California Consumers may also submit requests for us to disclose the specific types or categories of Personal Information we collect. In certain circumstances, we will not provide such information, including when disclosure would create a substantial, articulable, and unreasonable risk to the security of Personal Information, the customer's account with us, or the security of our systems or networks. We also will not disclose California Consumers' Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers or other government-issued identification numbers, bank account numbers, any health insurance or medical identification numbers, or account passwords and security question answers. |
7.3.4.2 "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" Option
7.3.4.3 Submitting Requests
If you are a California Consumer and wish to make any request under CCPA, please see the "Changing and Deleting Personal Information" section.
7.3.4.4 Verifying Requests
If we receive any requests, we will use a two-step process for online requests where California Consumers must first clearly submit the request and then separately confirm the request. We will use other appropriate measures to verify requests received by email or phone.
To verify requests, California Consumers must provide us with sufficient information to identify the consumer, such as name, email address, home or work address, or other such information in our records so that we can match it with the Personal Information we maintain.
Do not provide Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, account numbers, credit or debit card numbers, medical information, or health information in requests.
If a request is unclear or submitted through means other than those described above, we will provide California Consumers with specific instructions on how to submit a request or remedy any deficiencies.
If we cannot verify the requester's identity, we may deny the request.
We are committed to protecting the online privacy of all website visitors, including children.
Under the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we do not knowingly collect any Personal Information from children under 13, and we will delete any such information of which we become aware.
